Beckett’s WFG at American Players Theatre

Don’t miss this outstanding production of Waiting for Godot by American Players Theatre. Ending October 17 with only seven more performances still available – a must see for Beckett fans. Minimalist staged, sans rock by Nathan Stuber and directed by Kenneth Albers this high-energy performance has the right balance of humor and pathos. Jim DeVita plays Estragon in a touching performance. Brian Mani, as Pozzo – “does that name not mean anything to you” leads Lucky (John Pribyl) onto the stage who delivers his impassioned soliloquy on man’s relationship to God in a wonderful scene with Lucky tugging on the rope to continue.

Best production since Brian Bedford’s WFG at Stratford!

This production is in APT’s new indoor Touchstone Theatre with just five rows and 200-seats.

Spring Green is just outside Madison, Wisconsin and near Taliesin and Mineral Point. Taliesin is now serving dinner in FLW’s Visitor Center.
